Thanks for your reply Pam. I enjoyed your blog and hope all is well with you and yours.
The design sketchbook was for a City and Guilds course (7113). I am weak at design and found doing the sketchbook difficult, it is on 'Research for Design' and not directly linked to a stitched piece (although it could be used to create stitched work later). I see many things that fascinate me and that I love, but find it hard to know how to develop shapes, colours and lines in those things into a design. However, I have battled through the sketchbook and finished it now. I do appreciate your kind thoughts.
Best love, Chris
Comment by Pam Morris on October 18, 2012 at 17:43 just found this request chris, not sure what it is you are looking for. Are you asking for help with completing an actual design? to me a sketchbook is completed when you have exhausted all ideas which have evolved from your source of inspiration. Doe's it need to be completed anyway or can it move on into other lines of enquiry from your source inspiration?
check out my blog or website and contact me if you wish.
